Hi, you can call me Miles. I’m from Salt Lake City, UT and currently reside in Utah Valley. I often struggle with expressing myself and my ideas, so I began this blog to help me improve my ability to communicate and explain my thoughts and ideas.

I’m a college drop-out and haven’t accomplished anything extraordinary in my life, so take my ideas and thoughts for what they’re worth… which is probably less than a bag of potato chips. I’m anxious to begin this journey of self-improvement, and to better refine my ideas and gain a clearer understanding of what I believe. I thoroughly expect to do this with very few people paying attention, but I’m grateful for any input that may come my way.

I’ve always striven to be honest with myself and do my best to combat my own biases. I’ve thought myself to be a searcher of truth and try my best not to be a hypocrite. Often times, I find that I over-analyze subjects to the point of frustration, but I will try my best to be as clear as possible and explain my ideas in a way that will be understandable by most.

This blog will cover a wide range of topics from politics, religion, culture to food and entertainment. From time to time, I’ll share some photos of my dog as well. I will not pretend to be a thought leader, nor try to make myself out to be bigger than what I am.

I am and will always be a fool, someone who knows nothing. But I am also a seeker, one who tries to understand everything.

Also, here’s a picture of my dog Luna.

    Miles,
Congrats on writing your first blog post, I recently just posted my first as well. I believe you made a great choice deciding to write a blog as it will be a surefire way to improve your ability to communicate. With anything new in life you, feeling anxious can be expected, however, I encourage you to trust in yourself and be more positive. Proverbs 18:21 says “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” I believe you are better than you think. Also, Luna looks like a good dog. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you, Bradley! I appreciate the scripture and the kind words. Indeed it’s true that our words have power, and I’ll strive to be more positive.
